Breaking: Multiple injuries buses collided inside the Lincoln Tunnel
According to breaking news reports a bus rear-ended another bus inside Lincoln Tunnel. There are reports of up to 35-40 people have been injured.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says the buses collided around 9:35 am eastern time.
It has been reported that an inbound New Jersey Transit and private bus collided around 9:35 a.m. in the center tube close to the Manhattan side of the tunnel.
Traffic is at a complete halt. The center tube of the tunnel is closed. Expected 1 hour delay.
The Holland Tunnel has been affected with traffic delays. Traffic in the George Washington Bridge seems to be flowing.
Paul Ajlouny, New York Traffic Accident Attorney says, “there are close to 40 plus million vehicles that travel through the Lincoln tunnel a annually. Accidents are likely to happen.”
