“Statistically, the most dangerous time to drive is Saturday early morning Sunday”, says Paul Ajlouny, New York personal injury lawyer. This accident plays into the statistics. It’s the weekend evening / early morning hours, contributing dangerous factors can include drunk driving, speeding or driving without a safety belt.”

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, auto accidents kill more than 40,000 people in the U.S. each year; they are the No. 1 cause of death for people between the ages of 1 and 34.

Mr. Ajlouny continues,  “It’s not surprising that weekends, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, have the highest number of injury crashes”.

” Here’s a bit of advice to keep in mind. You may be a good driver and abide by all the laws in order to stay safe. However, you can never predict the negligent act of another driver. What you can do is  always wear a seat belt, and stay focused and alert. Accidents in New York happen. Surviving them is another factor.” states Mr. Ajlouny.
