5 INJURED IN CRASH: An early morning crash has left five people injured and an electric pole in danger of collapsing.
Looks like we have a heads up to a very dangerous intersection New York. The incident happened at around 5:20 a.m. at the intersection of East 233rd Street and Jerome Avenue.
The crash has left five people injured and were taken to Jacobi Medical Center. An electric pole is in danger of collapsing.

- One person is dead following a crash at East 233rd Street and Jerome Avenue in Woodlawn. A grey Toyota was going the wrong way on the entrance ramp to the Major Deegan Expressway at around 7 a.m. when it hit two vehicles. - Driver killed in car crash on Jerome Avenue in Kingsbridge in a fatal single-car crash. The accident happened at around 2:30 a.m., leaving a Lexus in mangled chunks and debris scattered all over the pavement. According to New York car accident lawyer, Paul Ajlouny, “Bronx traffic accidents happen on any road in the Bronx. ( Fordham Road, Arthur Avenue, Grand Concourse, Gun Hill Road, Jerome Avenue, Webster Avenue, White Plains Road, East 161st Street, East 233rd Street, or the Cross Bronx Expressway).
So far this year, 2014, there have been 19 driver / passenger fatalities, 17 pedestrian fatalities, 1 cyclist according to statistics tracked by the the WNYC.
There were 263 people who died in traffic crashes in New York City in 2014.”
