Insurance denying responsibility
Insurance company giving me the run around. Help!
Insurance Run-Around Question:
I was recently involved in a car accident in Manhattan, NY on the lower east side. I was rear-ended by a commercial vehicle. I was rushed to the hospital and after 6 hours released. I was advised to see an orthopedic doctor. I then was immediately contacted by the other drivers insurance company.
They appeared to be cooperative at first. Suddenly, they have pulled the rug out from under me by claiming that their client’ is not 100% at fault. I have a police report saying otherwise. I finally received a call back from the insurance agency with an offer of $5k.
I’m starting to panic not to mention in incredible pain from the accident. Help, what do I do now?
